Overview

The Oncology Live CME series features engaging, live presentations via a virtual platform. This course will focus on the multidisciplinary management of advanced prostate cancer covering diagnostics, surgical treatment, radiation therapy, and systemic treatment strategies. The course will include multidisciplinary lectures from urology, radiation oncology, and medical oncology with a practical panel discussion in clinical management options for patients.

Topics discussed will include:

  • Advancements in systemic therapy for patients with prostate cancer
  • Integration of genomic profiling in the treatment of prostate cancer
  • Surgical treatment strategies in advanced prostate cancer
  • Integration of radiation therapy in the management of advanced prostate cancer

Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe current advances in systemic treatment strategies for prostate cancer.
  2. Discuss the application of tumor molecular profiling and germline testing for patients with prostate cancer.
  3. Identify surgical management options for patients with advanced prostate cancer.
  4. Explain radiation oncology approaches for primary treatment and metastasis directed therapy in advanced prostate cancer.
