Overview
A weekly divisional conference presenting Grand Rounds, which includes Research Seminar, Journal Club, & M&M Conference to GI Faculty and fellows. Goals: To provide needs based education for physicians and health care providers to improve knowledge, competence and performance and enable the optimum provision of health care.

Objective(s): 1 Learn the techniques to improve the number of people being screened for colon cancer and the skills to improve the quality of screening. 2 Optimized treatment of hepatitis C. Treatment of Hepatitis C has improved dramatically in the last couple of years yet there is a gap in terms of optimal drug treatment for effective eradication of hepatitis C. 3 Inflammatory bowel disease management is changing with increased use of biological agents. Practitioners need to understand when these are most cost efficient to use for IBD patients. 4 Achalasia treatment has evolved. Participants should be able to identify achalasia patients and streamline pre, peri, & post treatment outcomes.
Location: School of Medicine - Main Campus
Specialties: Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Internal Medicine
