About the C-MEd Forum

The Sanford Institute for Empathy and Compassion proudly presents the inaugural Compassion in Medical Education (C-MEd) Forum on July 8-9, 2024, at the UC San Diego Scripps Seaside Forum (8610 Kennel Way, La Jolla, CA 92037). 

This event offers a unique opportunity to learn about our innovative programming and curricula directly from empathy and compassion experts, and helps attendees transform learning at their respective institutions. It is intended for medical educators, deans, and anatomy lab directors at schools of medicine, as well as physicians at teaching hospitals.

Compassion Cultivation Training© (CCT™) Workshop
July 7, 2024

Workshop is a standardized one-day intensive which distills the essence of Compassion Institute's flagship eight-week CCT into an eight-hour format. Drawing from contemplative science, neuroscience, and psychology, the content is supported by research on the efficacy of CCT and compassion training and facilitated by a certified CCT teacher with expertise in the health sector. Limited space available.
