Learn Serve Lead: The AAMC Annual Meeting is attended by medical school deans, teaching hospital CEOs, and medical school and teaching hospital faculty, researchers, administrators, residents and students. The 130-plus education sessions range from those that explore macrochallenges, societal issues that touch academic medicine and solutions to those featuring innovation in medical education and research. The meeting attracts more than 4600 attendees and is scheduled over a five-day period.


Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify current and future issues in health care and their impact across all of the missions in academic medicine.
  2. Create practical solutions for complex issues through collaboration.
  3. Discuss solutions for integrating and aligning academic missions to build the academic medical centers of the future.
  4. Apply new concepts and tools for leading innovation and cultural change in your organization.

Accreditation
The University of California San Diego School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements.

American Board of Pathology (ABPath): The activity has been registered to offer credit in the American Board of Pathology’s Continuing Certification program on activity materials. This Lifelong Learning (CME) activity enables the participant to earn up to 18.25.
