Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Discuss recent updates in perioperative management guidelines for localized esophageal cancer based on the ESOPEC trial.
  2. Recognize the implications of emerging molecular technologies and targeted therapies for personalized treatment approaches.
  3. Evaluate current evidence and strategies to optimize perioperative treatment of gastroesophageal cancer.
  4. Integrate findings from recent and ongoing trials to enhance treatment paradigms and address unmet needs in gastroesophageal cancer care.
