DCD in Action: Advanced Training in Normothermic Regional Perfusion

This immersive, hands-on course is designed to provide transplant and procurement surgeons, OPO professionals, and critical care teams with advanced training in the principles and practice of Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP). Hosted by the UC San Diego REIMAGINE Center in collaboration with the Center for the Future of Surgery and DTI, this multi-day program combines didactic instruction, case-based discussions, and hands-on surgical training using porcine models in a simulated operating room environment.

American Board of Surgery (ABS): Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME requirement of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS): Successful completion of this CME activity enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME  of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery’s Maintenance of Certification program.
