Upon completion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Evaluate clinical trial data and emerging therapies to inform the multidisciplinary management of HR+/HER2-, HER2+, and triple-negative breast cancer across early and metastatic stages.
  2. Identify current and ongoing clinical trials aimed at reducing recurrence and improving outcomes in early-stage and advanced breast cancer, including brain metastases and leptomeningeal disease.
  3. Incorporate prognostic and predictive biomarkers into personalized treatment planning and understand their role in guiding therapy selection for various breast cancer subtypes.
  4. Recognize and manage immune-related adverse events, including interstitial lung disease (ILD), associated with novel breast cancer treatments.
