Hugh Greenway's 40th Annual Superficial Anatomy & Cutaneous Surgery program is designed to provide the basic information and principles of superficial head and neck anatomy and surgery for those interested in dermatologic surgery.

Each participant will utilize fresh cadaver material for superficial head & neck dissection. Lectures will be used for initial instruction and will be followed by ample time in the laboratory.

In addition, the course will focus on local skin flaps and grafts as they pertain to the cutaneous surgeon. Small group workshops will give participants an opportunity to problem solve with the outstanding faculty we have assembled.

1. Identify the principles of superficial head and neck anatomy
2. Review the principles of reconstruction of surgical defects including local flap reconstruction
3. Discuss full thickness and split thickness skin grafts
4. Illustrate the anatomic principles and reconstruction of specific body units (i.e. ear, nose, foot, hand, etc.)
5. Examine indications and treatment of photo damaged skin, including topical and destructive therapies including lasers
6. Review subsets of material basic to Dermatologic Surgery

AAPA: AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 39.50 hours of Category 1 credit for completing this program.

Nurses: For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME. For the purpose of relicensure, the California Board of Registered Nursing accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (report up to 39.50 hours of credit and list "CME Category 1" as the provider number).

Pharmacists: The California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing education for pharmacists coursework which meets the standard of relevance to pharmacy practice and is accepted as continuing education by the Medical Board of California.

Psychologists: The California Board of Psychology recognizes and accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for license renewal. Psychologists outside of California should check with their state and local boards to ensure that ACCME accredited activities are acceptable for renewal.

Cancellation Policy: The full course tuition is refundable, less $200 if your cancellation is received in writing on or before July 15, 2023.  On or after July 16, 2023 the tuition is refundable less a $300 cancellation fee. No refunds will be allowed after August 1, 2023.
